A little bit about me, Connor James
Hi, I'm Connor,
I'm a photographer based in Surrey, shooting weddings and engagements across London and the home counties.
I started taking photos nearly fifteen years ago, picking up my first camera on a family holiday to Iceland. A little over four years later I took on my first paid photography work while at university, taking photos for the student union, as well as graduation photoshoots, and photos for our student newspaper. Now, I've developed a love for the special field of wedding photography, helping people create lifelong memories.
In my spare time I love to read, and cook (I'm actually a trained sushi chef), and illustrate - aiming to publish a children's story book soon.
I am also a keen outdoorsman, I love hiking with friends or alone, clay pigeon shooting with my dad, and bird watching. I was also recently introduced to surfing, and that seems like it will be my next little phase.
And this is my best friend, wife, and chief photo-quality-checker, Siobhan
We met on Hinge, after chatting about our shared passion of furnishing our student flats with up-cycled furniture.
We got married in 2024, in our dream countryside wedding surrounded by friends and family in North Devon, partying under the same tree where I asked Siobhan to marry me two years prior.
She is a seamstress by trade, and she loves making personalised accessories for brides and grooms - check out her sewing account on instagram -@SewnbySiobhan
